Other Info | Proud to continue my association with the University of York. This year’s Baroque Day celebrates the tercentenary of CPE Bach’s birth with three concerts of music by members of his family, including his father JS Bach, and his godfather, Telemann. CPE Bach was a noted and well-published composer of sonatas, rondos and fantasias for solo harpsichord and fortepiano. His music has been much praised for its ability to move the passions of the listeners, being characterised by arresting changes in mood and style. |
